Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3x 12 weekly = 36 hours)
Schedule: Every other weekend, No holidays, No on-call

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing care tailored to the needs of telemetry patients. This role requires excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to prioritize patient needs, and the capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering comprehensive patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on patient assessments and needs.
- Identify patient needs and establish priorities for care through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement a patient-centered plan of care.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of telemetry patients effectively.
- Document patient care following established standards, prioritizing clinical practices, and patient acuity.
- Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support innovations in care delivery.

Required Skills Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills.

Education Requirements:

- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Certifications Licensure:

- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.

Preferred Certifications:

- Telemetry Certification or completion of a Telemetry Competency Exam.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to float to other units as needed.
