Job Title: Level 3 Endoscopy/GI Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Endoscopy and Gastroenterology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This position requires the ability to work from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM, with on-call responsibilities for overnight and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responding to patient inquiries and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Monitoring and observing patient vital signs during procedures.
- Safely sedating patients prior to procedures and effectively recovering them afterward.
- Administering medications as necessary and ensuring accurate documentation including patient notes and discharge papers.
- Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures, while maintaining cleanliness and sterilization standards.
- Assisting physicians during procedures to enhance patient outcomes and comfort.
- Administering intravenous (IV) drips and ensuring proper care throughout the procedure.

Requirements:

- New York State RN license is required.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Endoscopy/Gastroenterology is highly desired.
- Telemetry experience is required.

Contract Details:
