Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 31 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Shift: 6:30a-3p, 4 shifts per week Mon-Fri with 1-2 call shifts per week and rotating weekend call (typically every 3rd weekend starting end of day Friday until 6:30am Monday).IA or Compact RN License, BCLS, ACLS2 years recent OR and PACU ExperienceCommon cases: TA, BMT, ortho (joint replacements, arthroscopies, ORIF), general (laparoscopic and open procedures), OB/GYN (C-sections, lap, and vaginal hysterectomies), urology.-Average number of cases per day: 5-15 (Tuesdays and Fridays are our highest volume days)-Ratios: 1-2 RN per OR with a ratio of 1:1 in PACU.
