Surgical Technologist - Labor and Delivery (LD)
Join our team as a skilled Surgical Technologist specializing in Labor and Delivery (LD). In this role, you will assist in surgical procedures related to childbirth, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries by sterilizing equipment and arranging supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, handling specimens, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Position patients for surgeries and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor equipment functionality during procedures and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Document procedure details and maintain compliance with hospital safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in hospital LD units or obstetric surgical suites equipped with specialized equipment for childbirth procedures.
- This position requires attention to detail and physical stamina to assist in long surgeries or procedures.
