HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Dunn, North Carolina.

Contract Type: Travel Assignment (13 Weeks)
Start Date: September 8, 2025
Specialty: Emergency Room (Level III Trauma)
Job Details
Shift Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Coverage: Rotating (major holidays included)
Patient Ratio: 1:4 (consistent across shifts)
Requirements Qualifications
Licensure Certifications:
- Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) or Compact License (required)
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (required)
- TNCC, NRP (preferred)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (completed at facility)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience (required)
- Preferred Background:
- Level I/II Trauma, Pediatric ED, STEMI/Stroke Centers
- Teaching or community hospital setting
- Required Skills:
- Trauma care (GSW, neuro/spinal injuries, multisystem failure)
- Pediatric emergencies (seizures, asthma, abuse recognition)
- Ventilator/BiPAP management, intubation assistance
- Procedural sedation, vasopressor titration
- EPIC charting proficiency (non-negotiable)
Additional Requirements:
- Floating: Required between Betsy Johnson Central Harnett campuses
- Scrub Color: Royal blue and white
- Local Rule: No candidates within 50 miles of facility
Unit Facility Details
- Unit Size: 25 beds, 17 treatment rooms
- Daily Volume: ~62 patients (all ages)
