Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Herrin, Illinois.
Job Description Requirements

Job Title: RN ICU
Location: Herrin, IL
Shift: Work Hours: 19:00 to 0730
Weekends: Every other Friday and Saturday night
Job Description - ICU RN (Night Shift, 13 Weeks)
- 13-week night shift contract position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Seeking RNs with at least 2 years of ICU experience (required)
- Will work with a young and dynamic ICU team, requiring solid clinical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to identify mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families/responsible persons
- Use clinical judgment to identify and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Promote a healthy work environment by managing conflict with professional communication
- Fulfill responsibilities related to Core Measures for patient care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Additional Requirements:
- Current Illinois RN License
- CPR/BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS / NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Fetal Monitoring
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)

- Progressive Care / Stepdown
- Cardiac Services (Cath Lab, Cardiac Care Unit, OP Cardiovascular Center)
- Interventional Imaging
- SDS Procedure Room
- Electrocardiology
- Intermediate Care Unit
- Birthing Center / Mother-Baby / NICU
- Pediatrics
- Emergency Room
- Recovery Room
- Infusion Therapy / Radiation / CTC Infusion Center
