Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit. In this critical role, you will:

- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patient needs.
- Identify and prioritize patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on ongoing patient assessments.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care.
- Document care according to established standards, considering patient acuity and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices in patient care to ensure high-quality standards.
- Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting is required.
- Strong background and knowledge in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.

Education:

- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications Licensure:

- Required:
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Telemetry Certification
- Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS-AHA)
- CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours)
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact RN license.
- Preferred: N/A
