Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Position Summary: - Maria Parham Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team during night shifts. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering exceptional care to patients with complex medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Support patients and families with empathy and clear communication.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state license).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current).
- Minimum 2 year of ICU or critical care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Float Requirements: PCU
