Overview:

The Primary Care Nurse completes triage and identifies abnormal patient symptoms, laboratory findings and notifies physician or provides treatment according to standard Primary Care developed protocols. Assists with EPIC in-basket management including, but not limited to incoming and outgoing telephonic or MyMercy messages, test results, medication refill requests, etc. Inputs orders as needed to aid provider and clinical care team.

LPN Qualifications:

Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing

Licensure: Active LPN license

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred

RN Qualifications:

Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelors degree

Licensure: Active RN license

Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred
