Were looking for aHospice RN - Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, youll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician-temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. As a Hospice RN - Regional Support, You Will:

. Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients
. Manage and implement individualized plans of care
. Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)
. Assess and address patients physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs
. Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols
. Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety
. Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed
. Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team
. Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance
. Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs

Schedule Travel:

This role typically follows a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:

• Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius.
• Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required.
• Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs.

A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.

Qualifications - What Youll Bring:

. Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment
. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, acute care, long-term care, oncology or other high acuity setting)
. Current CPR certification
. Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience (Not required):

. Hospice and end-of-life nursing experience
. Skilled in clinical assessments and compassionate communication
. Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
. Comfortable working in varied environments with shifting needs
. Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
. Calm and supportive in crisis situations; skilled at family engagement
