HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Sparta, North Carolina.

Job Details
Shift Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (as needed)
- Holiday Coverage: Rotating (major holidays included)
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (days) | Nights vary (low-volume rural ED)
Requirements Qualifications
Licensure Certifications:
- Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) or Compact License (required)
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
- CPI (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience (2 years preferred)
- Required Skills:
- Trauma stabilization (transfers for ICU-level care)
- Cardiac/insulin drips, central/IO line placement
- Ventilator/BiPAP management
- Emergency OB (unplanned deliveries)
- EPIC charting (required)
Additional Requirements:
- Scrub Color: Not specified
- Local Rule: No candidates within 30 miles of facility
Unit Facility Details
- Unit Size: 6 beds/treatment rooms
- Daily Volume: ~23 patients (all ages)
- Scope of Care:
- Peds to geriatrics
- Limited inpatient admissions (transfers for higher acuity)
- Equipment: Crash carts, vents, BiPAP, trach supplies
