Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: OR - Operating Room
- Discipline: RN
- Start Date: 09/01/2025
- Duration: 12 weeks
- 32 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
6:30a-3p, 4 shifts per week Mon-Fri with 1-2 call shifts per week and rotating weekend call (typically every 3rd weekend starting end of day Friday until 6:30am Monday).
Notes:
-BLS and ACLS, PALS but recommended but not required
-Experience would be OR and PACU
-Common cases: TA, BMT, ortho (joint replacements, arthroscopies, ORIF), general (laparoscopic and open procedures), OB/GYN (C-sections, lap, and vaginal hysterectomies), urology.
-Average number of cases per day: 5-15 (Tuesdays and Fridays are our highest volume days)
-Ratios: 1-2 RN per OR with a ratio of 1:1 in PACU.
Call on Thanksgiving Day.
