Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) . Night Shift . Corrections
Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a Texas correctional facility. This role involves providing critical healthcare in a unique environment.
Responsibilities:
. Provide nursing care and administer medications.
. Monitor and report patient health changes.
. Maintain accurate records.
. Collaborate with healthcare team.
. Follow facility safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
. Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
. BLS certification.
. 2+ years LVN experience, 1+ year in acute care.
. Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred.
. Strong communication skills.
Details:
. 13 . week assignment, possible extension.
. Night shifts, 36/48 weekly rotation.
. Work through holidays; may float to nearby units.
. Orientation in Conroe, TX, or Gatesville, TX.
. COVID . 19 vaccination required, exemptions considered.
