LifePoint is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richlands, Virginia.

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursery/Postpartum team. This position is ideal for a compassionate, highly skilled nurse who thrives in a family-centered environment and is committed to the care of newborns and mothers. This is a travel assignment requiring advanced certifications and specialized perinatal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates and postpartum patients in a supportive, nurturing environment.
- Monitor maternal and infant conditions and respond rapidly to changing needs.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Provide education and emotional support to new parents and families.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Active RN license (Virginia or compact state).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a nursery or postpartum setting.
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or higher certification
- STABLE Program (for neonatal transport and stabilization)
