• Schedule: Full Time, Nights, Sunday through Thursday; 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. No weekends. Opportunity for additional 11-7pm shifts on 2 weekends a month.

• Salary: $26.54 - $37.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument count throughout procedures.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associates
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologist that is a self-starter, can work independent and work as a team if doing an emergent case. Prepare OR rooms for the next days schedule, required quality checks as-needed. There is a full-time PCT on same shift and a Registered Nurse that works three nights a week.
