Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic MedSurg unit. This is a night shift position (7P - 7A), offering a guaranteed 36 hours per week with every other weekend off. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring the implementation of effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Uphold rigorous standards of safety and compliance as per hospital protocols and Joint Commission standards.
- Participate in orientation and training for new team members, fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure and registration in the state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS certification is required prior to starting.
- Experience in MedSurg preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in scheduling and attendance.

- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Supervisor Support: Strong supervisory presence for nursing staff.
