Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) . Corrections . Day Shift
Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a corrections role in the Navasota, TX area, with assignments at nearby facilities.
Responsibilities:
. Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.
. Administer medications and IV therapy.
. Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care.
. Float between units within a 10 . 30-minute radius as needed.
Qualifications:
. Valid Compact or Texas LVN license.
. 2+ years LVN experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
. BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
. Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
. Strong independent work and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
. 13 . week assignment, potential for extension.
. Day shifts with 36/48 . hour weekly rotation.
. Availability through holidays required.
Additional Information:
. COVID . 19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.
. Flexibility for schedule changes and floating.
