Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) Location: Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville, KY Shift: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Assignment Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Position Overview: Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Maysville, Kentucky. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department during mid-day to evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, and treatment
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies
- Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact state license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an emergency room setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
