We are currently adding Therapist Interns to our growing team! As an intern at Northeast Health Services, you will have the opportunity to directly treat patients in a clinical setting.
Location: Taunton, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the purview of a supervisor:
- Conduct#140; #140;Culturally#140; #140;Sensitive,#140; #140;strength-based#140; #140;assessments#140; #140;for#140; #140;new#140; #140;patients#140; #140;and#140; #140;families#140; #140;
- Provide#140; #140;individual#140; #140;and#140; #140;family#140; #140;therapy#140; #140;to#140; #140;patients#140; #140;based#140; #140;on#140; #140;identified#140; #140;needs #140;
- Complete#140; #140;billing,#140; #140;documentation,#140; #140;individualized#140; #140;treatment#140; #140;plans,#140; #140;and#140; #140;insurance#140; #140;authorization#140; #140;forms#140; #140;within#140; #140;specified#140; #140;time#140; #140;frames#140; #140;
- Develop#140; #140;crisis#140; #140;plans,#140; #140;safety#140; #140;plans#140; #140;(when#140; #140;needed),#140; #140;relapse#140; #140;prevention#140; #140;plans,#140; #140;and#140; #140;wellness#140; #140;plans#140; #140;to#140; #140;support#140; #140;the maintenance#140; #140;of#140; #140;stable#140; #140;functioning
- Create#140; #140;a#140; #140;discharge#140; #140;plan#140;
- Adhere#140; #140;to#140; #140;all#140; #140;current#140; #140;federal#140; #140;and#140; #140;state#140; #140;laws,#140; #140;regulatory#140; #140;requirements,#140; #140;as#140; #140;well#140; #140;as#140; #140;NEHS#140; #140;policies and #140;procedures
- Participate#140; #140;in#140; #140;case#140; #140;consultation#140; #140;and#140; #140;agency#140; #140;meetings #140;
- Complete#140; #140;all#140; #140;mandatory#140; #140;training #140;
Qualifications:
- In your final year of a Master of Social Work, Masters in Mental Health Counseling, or a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Has a strong interest in clinical outpatient mental health services
