In 2013, under our department's leadership, Cambridge was honored as one of the six recipients of the inaugural Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Culture of Health Prize. This recognition underscores our commitment to fostering a healthy community. We remain active participants in the RWJF Prize Winning Communities Network, continually striving to uphold the values that earned us this prestigious award.

Since 2018, CPHD has proudly maintained national accreditation from the Public Health Accreditation Board. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to advancing the continuous quality improvement of public health departments across the nation. Our accreditation reflects our unwavering dedication to maintaining high standards and implementing best practices in public health.
