Duties:
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care utilizing appropriate age-specific standards of practice for physical therapists regarding all patient populations served. Works independently and collaborates well with other team members in obtaining patient-centered goals within the Health System.
Skills:
Required Skills Experience:
-Ability to problem-solve, -Effective verbal and written communication skills, and -Knowledge about the care of neonate, pediatric adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Education:
Required Education:
-Physical Therapist Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience.
OR
-Masters/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy (CAPTE) accredited program.
Required Certification Licensure:
-Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist License from the State of Michigan.
-Current BLS certification
