Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:00)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to provide comprehensive care to patients with serious health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes as necessary.
- Administer medications, IV drips (including inotropes and conotropes), and specialized treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Unit Profile:
- Facility Department/Cost Center: ICU
- Number of Beds: 8
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Patient Population: Geratric and adult patients
- Equipment: Familiarity with EHR systems; Paragon is preferred.

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care critical care experience.
- Critical care experience including ventilator management and administration of IV drips.
- Preferred: CCRN certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Work Requirements:
- Availability for weekend hours as needed.
- Participation in on-call rotations as required.
- Floating to the PCU may be necessary, depending on staffing needs.

Dress Code:
- Scrubs: Navy blue or black.
