GQR Healthcare is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a travel job in Beaumont, Texas.

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) . Corrections . Day Shift
Join our team as an LVN in a correctional facility in Beaumont, Texas, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
. Provide nursing care and administer medications.
. Monitor and report patient health changes.
. Maintain accurate records and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
. Float to units within a 10 . 30 minute radius as needed.
Qualifications:
. Valid LVN license in Texas or a compact state.
. 2+ years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
. BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
. Ability to work independently in a fast . paced setting.
. Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
Schedule:
. Day shifts: 5:45 AM . 6:15 PM
. Weekend work and unit floating required.
Additional Information:
. COVID . 19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.
. Orientation provided post . clearance.
. Potential for continuous employment and extensions.
