The Radiology Technologist operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do

• You will prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• You will develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• You will administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system(image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

• Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
• Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
• Current license with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (either temporary or permanent) required upon hire.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Certification required.
• ARRT Registration and permanent Kansas Board of Healing Arts licensure required within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of experience as ARRT preferred. Will consider graduates.
