Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Nurse to join our dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team at our well-established facility. Our hospital serves as a regional referral center and is recognized for providing a comprehensive array of rehabilitation programs for various conditions, including post-stroke recovery, traumatic brain injuries, and amputations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional, personalized nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and achievement of rehabilitation goals.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including the use of IV pumps, specialty beds, feeding pumps, and transfer equipment.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately using the Meditech documentation system.
- Support patients and families by facilitating effective communication and education.
- Participate in care planning, patient assessments, and discharge planning processes.

Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in med-surg or rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.

Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 65
- Patient Ratios: 5-6
- Available CNAs and 11 hours of unit secretary support per shift.
- No floating between units, promoting stability and familiarity in care practices.

Hospital Certifications:
- CARF accredited and Joint Commission certified.
