Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

. Work 40 hours per week with various shift options available
. 5 eight-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
. 4 ten-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
. 3 twelve-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
. May require occasional weekend shifts, on-call rotation, and holiday rotation
. May be required to work flexible hours and alternate shifts as needed
. Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images
. Prepare patients for procedures and provide instruction to minimize anxiety
. Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risk
. Select and operate magnetic resonance systems and associated equipment
. Position patients and equipment for optimal anatomic demonstration
. Perform venipuncture and maintain venous access
. Prepare and administer contrast media
. Assist physicians with interventional procedures
. Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate digital data
. Use radiology information systems including PACS
. Provide practical instruction to partners and students
. Graduate of accredited radiography program required
. Experience as MRI Technologist required
. ARRT Radiography registration required
. ARRT MRI registration required
. CPR or BLS certification required
