eth;#159;#143;yen; Position Title: Invasive Cardiology Scrub Tech (RCIS)Location: 391 Wallace Road, Nashville, TNUnit: CardiologyCost Center: 76200Schedule: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 + call every other week (1 week on, 1 week off)Dress Code: Red or Black scrubs, or hospital-laundered OR blue scrubseth;#159;sect; Unit Overview:The Cardiology Unit at SHMC is a high-volume invasive cardiology department supporting a 125-bed hospital, with a strong reputation for cardiac excellence. This unit performs complex cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Bed Count: 125Nurse/Tech-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 during proceduresStaffing: Includes RCIS techs and support staffTechnology: GE Core equipment, Mac-Lab for documentation, Meditech EHReth;#159;#155; iuml;cedil;#143; Core Responsibilities:Scrub for invasive cardiac procedures, including:Left/Right Heart Caths (LHC/RHC)Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) - 24-hour STEMI facilityCardioMEMS, loop recorders, pacemakers (PPM), ICDsSupport the use of advanced equipment such as:Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)ImpellaOptical Coherence Tomography (OCT)Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)Monitor patient hemodynamics and assist in emergent interventionsCollaborate with physicians, RNs, and other techs using a high-functioning team approachRotate on call every other week for emergency cases#156;#133; Required Skills Experience:MUST HAVE:Invasive cardiology scrub experience (monitoring experience preferred)Proficiency in sterile technique and interventional proceduresPreferred:Familiarity with STEMI workflow and device implant protocolsSoft Skills:Strong multitaskingEffective communicationProven ability to function in a high-pressure team environmenteth;#159;#156; Certifications Required:RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) - RequiredACLS (AHA) - RequiredBLS (AHA) - Required
