We are seeking a temporary, licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 4-6-month assignment at our Encino, CA outpatient mental wellness clinic. You will play a vital role in conducting brain SPECT scans, preparing and administering doses, and ensuring imaging quality and regulatory compliance. This is a high-volume clinic, and the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to provide compassionate care to both children and adults. #156;#133; Key Responsibilities:

• Perform brain SPECT scans and conduct daily QA/QC procedures
• Prepare IVs and administer radiopharmaceutical doses
• Process and print scan images before the end of each workday
• Maintain Odyssey imaging system and accurate patient logs
• Conduct hot lab operations and daily radiation safety checks
• Order correct isotopes in advance and manage dose deliveries
• Perform regulatory calibrator tests (leak, linearity, geometry, accuracy)
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and inventory of medical supplies

• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in California
• Prior experience in high-volume outpatient or clinical settings
• Proven ability to manage challenging or pediatric patient interactions
• Excellent time management, independence, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
• Empathy, emotional stability, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with brain imaging preferred
• Experience with Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus
