BHcare, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, has been a pillar of support and healing in the Lower Naugatuck Valley, Greater New Haven, and Shoreline communities for over four decades. The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services: This program is crucial in offering safety, support, and advocacy for individuals experiencing domestic violence. A notable milestone in BHcare’s ongoing expansion of services occurred in December 2019, when it partnered with Fair Haven Community Health Care to establish Shoreline Family Health Care. This innovative integrated care center focuses on a holistic approach to health by combining primary care and behavioral health services. Here, primary care clinicians and behavioral health professionals collaborate to enhance the overall health and well-being of children and families. This integrated model ensures that physical and mental health are addressed simultaneously, providing a more cohesive and effective approach to healthcare.
