Since the first Providence Hospital opened in 1902, we have been an integral part of El Paso's fabric. With over 5,300 employees and partnerships with more than 900 physicians, we are committed to advancing health for the entire community. From East, West, and Central El Paso to Southern New Mexico and West Texas, our hospitals are regional destinations for high-quality care. We offer world-class services in surgery, heart care, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and women's health.

Innovation is a cornerstone of The Hospitals of Providence. We have pioneered numerous healthcare advancements locally, including the first robotic single-site surgical procedure using da Vinci, the first minimally invasive MAKOplasty joint replacement, and the first heart procedure with the advanced Magellan system. We also introduced state-of-the-art 3D mammography and were the first to perform several groundbreaking procedures such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement for civilians and the Watchman procedure.
