With over 40 years of experience, passion, and expertise, South Pacific Rehabilitation was established in 1979 with a pioneering vision: to offer a comprehensive therapy solution under one management. As one of the first in California to provide such an integrated rehabilitation service, we support sub-acute, acute rehab, hospital, outpatient, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. Today, alongside our affiliate Rehab Alliance, we serve 10 acute hospitals, over 60 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), 20 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), and numerous assisted living facilities (ALFs). Our corporate headquarters are located in Encino, California, and our dedicated team extends services throughout the state. While California remains our core focus, we are expanding into Washington, Arizona, and Nevada.

Jacob Cohen, our founder and a Cal State Long Beach graduate, has spent over four decades building a dynamic leadership team that shares his vision of delivering exceptional therapy services. Our leadership's passion, care, knowledge, collaboration, and oversight enable us to achieve outstanding results for each facility and patient.

At South Pacific Rehabilitation, we aim to elevate therapy services by recruiting highly qualified staff committed to personalized patient care. Our team assists partners in navigating the evolving landscape of reimbursements and regulatory changes. We collaborate with a diverse range of providers across the care continuum: hospitals, SNFs, CCRCs, independent living communities, and ALFs. Our skilled physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, certified assistants, rehab technicians, and transporters drive exceptional care experiences and positive outcomes.

Renowned for staff longevity and continuous education, South Pacific emphasizes ongoing training and clinical competencies. Our dedicated on-site facility supervisors manage clinical programs and rehab operations effectively. Experienced Regional Managers conduct regular quality control visits and training sessions. As RAC-certified professionals with a proactive approach to healthcare industry changes, they have helped us earn recognition as leaders in rehabilitation management services.
