Founded in Nashville in 1996 by Australian Gary Cunningham and a team that included three-time gold medalist Tracy Caulkins, Results Physiotherapy set out to revolutionize physical therapy in the U.S. The initial clinics bore Caulkins' name, a nod to her legendary status in Nashville. Gary's vision was clear: to offer world-class, manual-based physical therapy, a significant leap from the conventional exercise-and-hot-pack treatments still prevalent today. Research consistently shows that our hands-on approach delivers faster pain relief and more enduring recovery.

In the early 2000s, as Caulkins stepped away, Gary partnered with Greg Spurgin, a respected physical therapist and entrepreneur from Australia. Together, they expanded throughout middle Tennessee, equipping the Results team with cutting-edge, evidence-based techniques to alleviate pain and enhance the body's readiness for exercise and strength training.

In 2021, Results Physiotherapy joined the Upstream Rehabilitation family, a leading operator of outpatient physical therapy clinics in the U.S. Our patients frequently express that our therapy is unlike anything they've experienced before.
