Our 211-bed facility is located on an 85-acre healthcare campus in west Hattiesburg, amidst a rapidly growing retail area in Lamar County.

Pioneers in minimally invasive surgery since 2007, we upgraded our robotic surgical system in 2011. Our surgeons are among the most experienced in south Mississippi, achieving milestones such as the first single-incision gall bladder removal and hysterectomy in the region. In 2020, we expanded our surgical technology to include orthopedic and spine care with robotic-assisted systems for knee replacements and spine surgeries. By 2021, we further advanced with robotic-assisted hip replacements.

Our 30-Minutes-or-Less ER Service Pledge ensures swift emergency care for all ages. Designated as a baby-friendly hospital by Baby-Friendly USA, we support mothers with informed infant feeding choices and personal feeding goals. Our Level III NICU provides specialized care for critically ill or premature newborns.

Merit Health Wesley also offers an onsite fitness center with traditional exercise programs, cardiac rehabilitation, aquatic rehabilitation, and nutrition training services.
