Our mission is to provide healing, hope, and assistance to individuals from all walks of life, embracing diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and identity.

As a non-profit organization, LSF is dedicated to transforming lives by fostering safe environments for children, strengthening families, and nurturing vibrant communities. Since our founding in 1982, we have consistently reached 1 in 50 Floridians annually through our comprehensive programs. These include early education initiatives, youth shelters, foster care services, refugee and resettlement support, substance abuse and mental health services, as well as adult guardianship.

Based in Tampa, Florida, LSF operates more than 60 programs across the state with the support of approximately 1,200 devoted employees.
