Kindred Hospital Bay Area - St. Petersburg and its Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) offer a comprehensive 95-bed facility dedicated to extended recovery care, akin to what you would receive in a traditional hospital setting. With 82 long-term acute care beds, we collaborate closely with your physician to provide round-the-clock clinical care every day of the week, ensuring you embark on a successful journey to wellness.

Our 13-bed ARU is specifically designed for individuals recovering from the debilitating effects of acute injuries, impairments, or illnesses. Conveniently located south of downtown St. Petersburg, where 4th Street transitions into 6th Street between 30th and 32nd Avenues, our hospital boasts stunning waterfront views of the bay and easy access to public transportation.

Upon referral to our hospital, you will be supported by a team of skilled professionals who deliver specialized care tailored to your complex medical needs. Your physician-led care team conducts daily visits to assess and optimize your recovery process, helping you achieve the fullest possible recovery.
