The Jewish Board provides essential health and human services to New Yorkers of all backgrounds—regardless of religion, ethnicity, cultural identity, gender identification, ability, or age. We support adults and children living with mental illness, offer supportive housing for families and individuals, provide safe environments for adolescents in recovery, assist those with developmental disabilities, and offer counseling and mental health services tailored to specific needs.

For over 140 years, our mission has been realized across New York City's five boroughs through community-based programs, residential facilities, and day treatment centers. As a proud beneficiary of the UJA-Federation of New York network, we stand alongside over 100 human-service agencies. The UJA-Federation supports us with a substantial block grant and targeted financial aid for specific initiatives. Additionally, they offer educational symposiums for our trustees and staff to enhance governance and foster collaboration with other agencies facing similar challenges. This partnership strengthens our ability to serve our clients effectively.
