Haywood Regional Medical Center, proudly situated in Haywood County, is a cornerstone of healthcare with a capacity of 154 beds. Established in 1927 as North Carolina's first county hospital, we relocated to Clyde in 1978, continuing our legacy of excellence.

Our comprehensive services span orthopedics, spine care, cardiology, general surgery, women's health, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. We also operate 11 multi-specialty physician clinics to meet diverse healthcare needs.

Our Clyde campus features the expansive 54,000 square foot Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center and the 44,000 square foot Outpatient Care Center, which houses an outpatient surgery center, laboratory, imaging center, and physician practices.

In addition to our main facilities, we extend our reach through two urgent care centers located in Hazelwood and Canton, ensuring accessible care throughout the county.
