Our flagship facility, Grand Strand Medical Center, is a 403-bed acute care hospital located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We take pride in offering specialized services that are unique to our region, including the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in Horry and Georgetown counties. Our hospital is also distinguished as a Level I Adult Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, ensuring that we are equipped to handle the most critical emergencies with expertise and compassion.

In addition to our main hospital, our network includes three freestanding emergency departments—North Strand ER, Carolina Forest ER, and South Strand Medical Center—providing 24/7 emergency care to our community. We also offer a variety of outpatient services, such as advanced wound care, imaging, and laboratory services, to ensure comprehensive care close to home.

Our dedication to excellence has been recognized through various accreditations and awards. We are certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, reflecting our capability to treat the most complex stroke cases. Additionally, we have received recognition for our programs in chest pain management, knee and hip replacement, sepsis care, and stroke rehabilitation.

Beyond our medical services, we are deeply invested in the well-being of our community. Through our HealthFinders resource center, located in the Coastal Grand Mall, we offer health seminars, screenings, classes, and special events aimed at promoting health education and preventive care.
