At Franciscan Ministries, we embrace the joy in every moment, celebrating the small victories that life offers each day. Our mission is to help you discover and cherish these happy moments that surround you. Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, we continue the legacy of Mother Mary Theresa, who inspired the founding of Franciscan Ministries in 1988. Our organization was created to unify and expand the charitable missions of the Sisters.

Franciscan Ministries encompasses several divisions dedicated to serving communities with compassion and expertise. Franciscan Communities leads in senior care, education, and community services, managing senior living communities across Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Franciscan Community Services, Inc. offers home and community-based healthcare in Illinois and Indiana, ensuring quality care reaches those in need.

Our commitment extends through Franciscan Community Benefit Services, Inc., which includes St. Jude House—a family violence prevention center and shelter in Indiana—and the Madonna Foundation, providing tuition grants and enrichment programs for young women attending Catholic high schools in the Chicago area. Additionally, Franciscan Advisory Services offers consulting expertise to other organizations.
