Central Ohio Primary Care was established in 1996 by a group of 33 physicians who prioritized patient care over administrative burdens. From the beginning, our focus has been on innovative approaches to deliver exceptional patient care. Today, with over 87 practices, we serve more than 450,000 patients. Yet, our true distinction lies not in our size but in our evolution beyond traditional primary care.
We have developed a comprehensive system that supports the entire spectrum of care for each COPC patient. Our hospitalist team operates across regional hospitals, we are expanding SameDay Centers, and enhancing our ancillary services. We are pioneering a model we believe is the pinnacle of primary care excellence.
Our foundation is built on clinical excellence and unwavering ethical standards, creating a holistic approach to patient care. This allows physicians more time to cultivate meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues. Our success is rooted in a reputation for clinical excellence, dedication to thoughtful service, and a readiness to challenge conventional care standards.
Our goal is clear: to deliver top-tier preventative and chronic care, minimize hospital visits whenever possible, collaborate with local health systems while maintaining independence, and refer patients to the best specialists regardless of affiliation. We aim to demonstrate that superior care can be provided at competitive prices.
By achieving these objectives, we strive to be the best for our patients, the best for each other, and the Best for Primary Care.
