Since our inception in 1982, we have supported thousands of individuals and families facing serious illness diagnoses, drawing on decades of experience.

Under the leadership of our Medical Director, Gerald Gibbs, M.D., who has been with us since the beginning, we manage a dedicated cancer treatment practice alongside comprehensive patient care. Our organization is consistently recognized as one of the top 100 nonprofits to work for in Oregon, a testament to our dedication to outstanding care. This recognition fosters a positive work environment, contributing to one of the lowest staff turnover rates in our industry.

Our mission is further strengthened by our deeply committed volunteers, who contribute over 2,000 hours annually. Whether visiting families or assisting in the office, their efforts enhance the lives of everyone we serve. Additionally, we host interns from various health disciplines for up to a year. Their projects, such as evaluating new medications, keep us informed on the latest advancements while they gain valuable insights into the unique needs of our community.

We actively collaborate with immigrant community organizations to raise awareness of our services and provide comprehensive support beyond medical care, including assistance with housing, food, and other essential needs. Through these partnerships, we strive to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families in need.
