Our dedicated physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers embrace their calling with compassion, following the example set by our foundresses. Our mission is to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by enhancing the health and well-being of our communities, offering good help to those in need.

Guided by God's hope for the world, our vision is to create a ministry where associates are eager to work, clinicians are inspired to practice, individuals seek wellness, and communities flourish. Bon Secours Mercy Health's Catholic heritage traces back to women religious in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries who initiated ministries focused on serving the poor, underserved, and dying. We honor their legacy by continuing Jesus' healing ministry through compassion and service.

In the communities we serve, Bon Secours Mercy Health invests nearly $2 million daily in care and programs that support individuals and entire communities. The passion for providing good help has driven the Sisters of Bon Secours since 1824. While our ministry has evolved over time, our core values remain steadfast: bringing compassion to healthcare and being Good Help to Those in Need.

For over 160 years, Bon Secours has been a leader in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare. With more than 2,300 employed providers, we are well-positioned to navigate the ever-changing healthcare landscape. At Bon Secours, nursing is seen as both a calling and a profession.
