Job Title: Radiology Nursing Position (Nights)

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Unit Overview:
Join a leading hospitals Radiology Nursing team that operates within a dynamic and supportive environment. This unit is designed for a total of 24 beds, featuring patient care ratios of 3-4:1 in pre/post procedures and 1:1 during interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and related procedures.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including CNAs, to ensure superior patient experience and safety.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as IV Pumps, bedside monitors, and telemetry boxes within the nursing scope.

Qualifications:
- Must have prior ICU or Emergency Department experience; previous experience in Interventional Radiology and moderate sedation is preferred.
- Critical care experience and familiarity with cardiac diagnoses, especially vascular patients, IV Drug Administration (IVDA), chest tubes, and central venous access (CVA) lines is essential.
- Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS
- Advanced skills in critical care nursing and acute patient monitoring.

Procedures Performed:
- Participate in a variety of procedures including Interventional Radiology (IR), Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time commitment of 4 ten-hour shifts per week, including on-call duties for 4-5 weeknight shifts within a 6-week schedule, and every 10-11th weekend.

Dress Code:
- Green hospital-issued scrubs are required.
