Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision of a physician, performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Performs other functions to support hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations. Delivers service in conjunction with the hospitals customer service standards and expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associates degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Graduate of accredited medical assistant curriculum or equivalent. Prior experience. American Heart Association CPR Certification BLS.
Must have experience drawing blood and starting IVs.
