HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, Kansas License,
- Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- TNCC
- Meditech experience
- Been to a 52 bed ER or larger
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics
- Good grasp on patient experience
Best personality Fit:
- Able to keep up with our fast pace ER
- Diverse and able to learn quickly, we are a young crowd and assume you can handle your own
Number of Beds - 52Number of Staff - 134Type of staff:Day Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per podNight Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per podPatient Ratios - 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds - team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteedType of equipment - AlarisEMR -Meditech
