Pay Range: $1146 to $1430 weekly gross
Schedule: 7a-7:30p day shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed.
Contract Length: 16 Weeks

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a LPN
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in Psych
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Be willing to obtain GA or compact state licensure

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Adult Mental Health facility, youll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• Provides basic care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages, or performing catheterizations.
• Answers individuals calls and determines how to assist them.
• Observes individuals, charting and reporting changes in individuals conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
• Measures and records individuals vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
• Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, and notes times and amounts on individuals charts.
