Shift: 3x12.0-775035
Schedule: Wednesday 3pm-11:30pm, Thursday Friday 8:30am-11pm
On Call: Holidays, and Callback per unit needs

Short Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to initiating scans, strictly adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians to facilitate accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and provide clear explanations of procedures to ensure their comfort.
- Insert IVs as necessary for examinations.
- Position patients correctly for imaging, safely handling those with limited mobility.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document essential components within the EPIC system, ensuring images are correctly identified and transmitted to the PACS system post-exam.
- Ensure a clean and safe scanning environment.

Requirements:
- Formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- New York State licensure (to be obtained prior to starting position).
- Minimum of two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association ONLY).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Injection certification; willingness to complete during orientation.
- Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to maintain an effective working environment.
