Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency department setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients vital signs and perform necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Proficiency in Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Must be able to provide one recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment is required during orientation, with two attempts maximum to pass.
- Flexibility to work at least every other holiday.
