Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.
Job Description Requirements

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery (LD)
Location: Watertown, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Type: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Perform vaginal exams and assess labor progression
- Circulate in C-section deliveries and monitor patients recovering from spinal anesthesia
- Identify and respond to life-threatening maternal or fetal complications
- Ensure safety and proper use of patient lifting devices
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Exhibit leadership and the ability to prioritize in emergency or high-stress situations
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Additional Requirements:
Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license.
BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
