MedAdventures is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, primarily working with children in school settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Apply evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.
- Educate families about communication disorders and improvement strategies.
- Stay current on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience with pediatric populations (preferred), especially in school or early intervention settings.
- Solid understanding of speech production anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with relevant medical terminology.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
